Sleepy // Takochu

I am soooo super sleepy today. I needed a little break from the dress pattern I've been working on, so I started working on a new romper/sunsuit pattern last night. I might sew up a sample tonight if I can get through dinner, etc. still awake. :)

I got a package this afternoon with 4 new Takochu toys. It perked up my day a bit. I also decided to take a picture of all my pink Takochus together because they make me happy!

I adjusted my pattern again last night, and this is the result. I'm still not entirely happy with it. I made the inset smaller, but I think I want it just a bit bigger than this. I also adjusted the armholes, but it made the dress almost too difficult to turn with the partial lining I added. Hmm.

Still working.

I think I need to shrink the inset so it gathers less and poofs less at the bottom. I'm not sure.

Working on...

I've spent the last week working on a new pattern for Lati Yellow and LittleFee. I thought I worked out all the kinks, but now I'm second-guessing myself and feeling unsure about the whole thing. It's just not exactly what I'm envisioning in my head (close, but...). I did take a long break from sewing over the winter, so maybe I just need to get back into a groove!

Hello, and welcome to my new blog! If you're here, you probably already know me from Flickr or Etsy. I sew clothes for little dolls, mostly Lati Yellow, Lati White SP, and LittleFee.
